Have you ever thought about how your favorite song came about? Santa Fe will be hosting Nashville Unplugged, a songwriter’s night featuring country artists and songwriters Cyndi Thompson & Carolyn Dawn Johnson. We are bringing Nashville’s infamous Bluebird Cafe to Las Vegas. Cyndi Thompson & Carolyn Dawn Johnson, along with a different special guest each night, will tell the story behind the hit song before they perform it. It will be an intimate night of interaction; you will be able to ask questions and help write a song. Each night will feature "Songs from a Hat'. Guests will be able to submit their song title suggestions. The artists will choose one title, write a song based on that title and perform the song at the end of the night.
Sounds Like: Taylor Swift, Adele, The Civil Wars, Faith Hill, Martina McBride

"Singer-songwriter Thomson is gonna grab you where it counts, with a laid-back sensuality (think Sheryl Crow/Deana Carter), hooky melodies only a crowbar could get out of your head, and a Georgia accent that knows no one-syllable words. Her introspective lyrics read like diary entries, alternately hopeful (''I haven't met you/But I want to'') and hot (''soft touch/wet kiss/I always liked that best''). Nashville pop never sounded so cool."
