About the Artist

CURTIS started a career in music at a young age first as a dancer. His experiences in performance led him to release his first single, "Flame" in 2002. Before releasing his debut album in 2010 called "IN THIS MOMENT," CURTIS published a book of poetry in 2006 entitled, "Passion Marks Poetic Confessions." The book is comprised of several award winning poems, one of which is featured on his album. "Reservation For Love" and "Still" are two poems from the book that were recreated into spoken word interludes for the album. A year after the release of the album, it was nominated for CD of the Year at The Traffic Music Awards in St. Louis. After losing to hip hop star, Nelly, CURTIS won the following year as Songwriter of the Year. CURTIS is celebrating over 20 years in music and is currently promoting his latest project, "Snowman In A Winter Wonderland," a holiday EP featuring 4 original songs.
