The American-Celtic Band CRAIC, is named for the Irish term craic meaning “enjoyable tiöme spent with other people, especially when the conversation is entertaining and funny”.
CRAIC’s sound is very unique, blending Irish music and instrumentation, bluegrass, and punk rock. The 8-member group originated in Cleveland, Ohio in 2009 and has been drawing large crowds everywhere they play. CRAIC has performed at many festivals and venues including Roverfest 2013, Jacob’s Pavilion at Nautica, Cleveland’s Twilight at the Zoo, The House of Blues, Hardrock Café Pittsburgh and The Riverfront Irish Festival. They are also currently recognized on ReverbNation.com as Cleveland’s #1 Celtic and Traditional band and are lead by Cleveland’s Best Vocalist, as voted in the Cleveland Scene’s “Best Of” edition.
CRAIC consists of Brett Burlison (lead vocals & Bodrhan) , Tim Clausing (acoustic 12 string guitar), Theresa Kalka (tin-whistle, vocals), Mitch Kozub (banjo, vocals), Jason “Gojko” Kollar (bass guitar), Jordan Hemann (electric guitar, vocals), and Jennifer O'Neal (fiddle) & Dave Kammerman (Drums, Vocals)
CRAIC’s first EP released in 2011, “It’s Still New Enough That It’s Forgivable” is available on Amazon.com and Itunes as well as being played on Pandora, Spotify and other online music streaming services. In 2013 CRAIC released the single and music video “Hold The Penny” in advance of the March 2014 release of the full-length album “Amongst the Mischief and Malarkey”. 2017 Release, "Sounds of Vandemark" is now available.
