Cooter Brown is a heavy, groove-driven rock band forged through years of shared stages, hard riffs, and undeniable chemistry. Guitarist Grant Masson and drummer Tom Oz have been a powerhouse rhythm force since 2007, first tearing up Southern California stages with their former band, Hallowed Engine, before launching Cooter Brown in 2011, with the addition of longtime friend and formidable bassist Scott (Scottiey) Kessler—known for Nightmare: The Alice Cooper Tribute and progressive metal outfit Scarred— he was the final cog that rounded out a trio built of raw, riff-heavy rock, and no looking back!. After collaborating with a variety of standout vocalists over the years, the band found its perfect frontman in Grimm. His soaring range and gritty, commanding delivery elevated Cooter Brown’s sound, locking in a lineup with explosive chemistry both onstage and off. The result is a band that hits hard, grooves deep, and leaves a lasting impression!
