Band Bio – The Conspiracy Of Noize
The Conspiracy of Noize was founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife duo Michael and Elogy Shipman. Together, they bring over twenty-five years of shared performance experience, rooted primarily in Gospel music across Cape Cod, Boston, and the Providence area.
Both are seasoned session musicians and vocalists, with extensive studio experience at MDI and Area Twenty-Two Studios in Plymouth. Elogy Shipman has contributed as both a lead and background vocalist on numerous recording projects, while Michael Shipman has built a reputation as a songwriter, arranger, producer, and artist development specialist.
The band is joined by exceptional rhythm section talent, featuring Cleverson Rodriguez on bass (since 2015) and Steve Goveia—formerly of The Risk—on drums (since 2023).
Musically, The Conspiracy of Noize blends Michael and Elogy’s distinctive vocal styles with Michael’s original compositions. Their sound fuses R&B, Soul, Funk, Blues, and Rock, enriched with elements of Gospel and Reggae, creating a dynamic and genre-spanning musical experience.
