About the Artist

AI is used creatively in music production, with real human musicians playing instruments rather than relying solely on AI-generated sounds. This approach allows independent artists to create high-quality music affordably, challenging the traditional music industry model where professional songwriters and session musicians dominate. The concept of "Carnival Rock" is introduced, encouraging listeners to embrace this new genre and engage with it further. 🕯️ Now Entering: Pantomimus Fool | The Shadow Court This is not a concert. This is a confession. Pantomimus Fool | The Shadow Court is Colin Fleming’s most daring creation yet—a dark theatrical blues-rock descent into madness, memory, and emotional exile. Inspired by the raw truth of narcissistic abuse, and grief, this show doesn’t ask for your sympathy. It demands your judgment. Colin plays the Fool—a tragic, gothic figure trapped in a man-made purgatory of regret, denial, and self-sabotage. There are no gods here. No redemption. Only ghosts of the past, cognitive distortions dressed in silk and shadow, and one man’s slow spiral into the truth he cannot face. The Fool tells the truth that nobody wants to hear: Just enough to keep you listening. Just enough to make you love him. Then he breaks you. The audience will empathise… until they realise they’ve been fooled. And when they watch it the second time—they’ll see every red flag they missed the first. Because The Shadow Court doesn’t change. You do. It’s beautiful. It’s brutal. It’s a horror story wrapped in velvet chords and mascara tears. And it ends with one final line that will never leave you. With decades of experience, Colin has worked alongside legends like Duane Cronje (The Original Oracle), Linda San Martino (Undercurrent), Sean Van Der Walt (Tribe), and Jeunesse Wengenroth (The Oracle). He extends heartfelt thanks to Eddie and Chanty of Unicorn Recording Studio, and to the SABC for their support. From Durban beachfronts to back-alley stages, Colin’s guitar has lit up audiences with humour, heartbreak, and a theatrical edge all his own. Now, with Pantomimus Fool and a return to the stage, he’s chasing not fame—but reckoning. Colin’s journey wouldn’t be complete without acknowledging his brother, Bruce Fleming. From childhood days of strumming on wooden toy guitars to recording full albums together, their shared musical story runs deep. Like true Irish brothers, they don’t always get along—but when they do, magic happens. And when they don’t? Nothing happens at all. Still, the bond remains—etched in every harmony, every fight, and a few unfinished songs still waiting to be played. And trust him—you’ll feel it. 🎸 G1 – Delusions of Grandeur | The Sonic Madness of Colin Fleming G1 – Delusions of Grandeur was born in 2016, one year after Colin Fleming did the most rock 'n roll thing imaginable: survive terminal liver failure. The lifestyle nearly took him out, but instead, he came back swinging—sober, broke, guitarless… and completely delusional in the best way possible. Armed with a secondhand axe and a few sacred geometry sketches, Colin reawakened a skill he thought was lost to time (and toxins). The name Delusions of Grandeur was both a punchline and a prophecy—music made with no hope of fame, just fire in the soul. G1? A cheeky nod to G3 (Vai, Satriani) +1, because why not shoot higher? While the world slept, Colin recorded from his lounge—midnight jams, piercing stares, and the occasional green screen skeleton drummer. Neighbours? Less amused. Fans? Obsessed. A Nightmare After Halloween and other late-night uploads became underground hits, proving that even isolation can be loud. 🎧 2024 and Still Delusional After a 9-year hiatus, Colin dropped his latest album: G1 – Delusions of Grandeur: 2024 and Still Delusional. It’s part catharsis, part chaos—dabbling in funk, Celtic licks, and even a ballad for Claudette (yes, that Claudette). It’s theatrical, emotional, and very, very loud. His earlier releases, like Origins (2016) and Cyathium Summer, remain fan favourites. Origins channels the soul of icons like Pink Floyd, Santana, Vai and Satriani—but with entirely original compositions. Meanwhile, Cyathium Summer leaned deep into musical modes and shredding madness, with tracks like Forbidden Loki in Locrian still giving him goosebumps. From modal explorations to fully-fledged concept albums, Colin's studio has remained the same: a couch, a guitar, some effects, and a relentless imagination. What began as therapy evolved into a full-fledged artistic identity, culminating in his live-streamed performances under Colin Fleming: Live from the Lounge.
