Copake Farmers Market This is one of the most progressive farmers markets I've ever been to. Fresh organic produce direct from the fields and hills of the Western Berkshires. (I never leave without any!) Local businesses sponsor each week thereby allowing performers to be compensated in something other than the great produce! I have performed here for the past few years as it is near my kids and grandkids in the Berkshires and makes for a great dual purpose roadtrip! Promise new songs, new guitars, new set lists. Come one come all and browse!!Save
Sandywoods Music Center is one of the area's great listening room venues! Double Bill with Chuck Williams and Louis Leeman performing individual sets. Chuck has been doing 2 shows a year here at Sandywoods. Beyond performing throughout New England, he is President of the Rhode Island Songwriters Association. There seems to be a proud tradition of speaking truth to power in many of his songs. Chuck has had the pleasure of opening for national touring acts such as Jimmy Le Fave, Steve Forbert, Cheryl Wheeler, Rod Mc Donald, Pegi Young and the Survivors, Kelly Joe Phelps, Beau Coup Bleu amongst others. Louis Leeman, an active member of the New England music scene for over 3 decades, is a singer, musician and song writer who resides in Swansea, MA. During that time, Louis has had the opportunity to play with many talented musicians in a variety of settings and styles. As an opening act for Tom Rush, Leon Russell, Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett of Little Feat, Savoy Brown, Darrel Scott, Chip Taylor and Carrie Rodrigues, Louis has had the opportunity to play to audiences who expect the best. www.sandywoodsmusic.org Doors at 7:00PM Tickets $10 Pre, $12 day of show!Tickets Save

Bio: Employing a voice that resembles Neil Young's with the edges rounded-off, Williams is far more than simply a folk singer. His singer-songwriter style is circuitously culled from various influences, though he does not rely too heavily on any one technique. There seems to be a proud and strong tra...See Full Bio
“...singer-songwriter Chuck Williams owes a debt to folkies like James Taylor, but he does enough on 'Lightning In A Bottle' to indicate he’s his own man. Strong songs and a keen delivery are at the album’s core. The playing is tight and lucid, and the arrangements get quickly to the point allowing Williams to get his message across. If you’re in the market for a new singer-songwriter with something to say, be sure to check him out. Simon. LeicesterBangs.co.uk 2010 ”
