I've been doing musical stuff as long as I could remember. Music was huge in my family growing up and I went through several different traditional tracks of study. I had wanted to play the guitar for a while, and when I was 14, a mentor handed me an acoustic guitar and said it was mine as long as I used it “for good and not for evil.” While we might laugh at it, I knew from the start that there's power in this mystical music thing.
I am fortunate enough to play with some incredible musicians, but the "who" often changes these days. I love to collaborate and to co-write, so that's an open invitation. My day job is curating inspiring experiences for a community called Jacob's Well and I also teach for the Music Academy of Minneapolis organization Urban Ventures.
