Cheezy and the Crackers… Reggae our way!! Hailing from Southern New Jersey, the band started out playing local bars and clubs showcasing their original material, which created a steadily growing fan base throughout the area. Soon they began taking songs from various genres and mixing up their styles to create a live band DJ sound of sorts, with material from Scott Joplin to Janis Joplin and much more. Ideal for any beach atmosphere, the Crackers blend many Caribbean styles of music with a large list of Top 40 hits from yesterday to today, making it the perfect music for dancing all night in the sand. With a unique style all their own, Cheezy and the Crackers have been making crowds shake their stuff from coast to coast, while bringing funky mashups and an upbeat live show to the masses. As a result, this internationally touring act has secured shows with artists / bands such as Snoop Dogg, ZZ Top, Matisyahu, The Avett Brothers, Rebelution, Culture Club, O.A.R., Darius Rucker, The Wailers, Run DMC, and countless more. Other highlights include: Multiple national tours 1st selection for Guitar Center's Fresh Cuts Vol 7 w/ Sublime With Rome VH1's Make A Band Famous - Top 20 Cheezy and the Crackers are about having a good time and showing love to your fellow earthly creature.
