Q: Love this music. Are you playing a lap steel tuned in C6 on "Boogie Woogie"?

A: Good ear Tim. Glad you liked it. Leave it to a cat from Texas to catch onto that one. It is a C6th lap steel tuning tuning( or variation of) but played on a regular guitar in the traditional position. A lot of Hank, Hawkshaw Hawkins etc. played around the house when I was little so I picked up on it. Not quite Junior brown but... Also check out Hop Wilson from Texas, Great blues steel guitar.
