Brilliant works! The bass is such a complex instrument to play. It it isn't right, nothing else will be right. These songs are all in the groove. Loved the Earth Angel song and video. Thanks. TT :o).

“In conjunction with Hispanic Heritage, we will present Latin-Caribbean sensation, Matias Rocha Y nueva Trova. Matias-Rocha y Nueva Trova, is based in Columbus, Ohio, but is international in composition. Co-leader/drummer/percussionist/vocalist Rolando Matias is a native of Puerto Rico who has performed or recorded with the likes of 2007 Latin Grammy winner Brian Lynch, multi-Grammy winner David Sanchez, and many more. Co-leader/guitarist/vocalist Samuel Rocha is from Mexico. He has played in a variety of bands and projects ranging from folk to soul and jazz, but in this group, he returns to his Mexican roots in the folk tradition while keeping his soulful vocals and guitar improvisation. Rounding out the band are Chad Greenwald from Israel on acoustic bass and electric bass and Eddie Bayard from Jamaica on alto and tenor saxophones.”
