The Awakening Cafe (Hudson, Quebec) is a monthly gathering of like-minded souls on the awakening journey, created to help you: Connect – Share and exchange, with others who are on the same journey Expand – Learn from leading experts in the fields of healthy living Express – Inspire others by sharing your thoughts, beliefs and experiences. Awakening, sometimes called ‘spiritual awakening’, is a journey that more and more people on this planet are embarking on. Unlike what has been offered in the past by some religious and spiritual institutions, there is no one path, no right answer, no one guru to lead the way. Instead the journey is very individual, taking infinite number of routes. One aspect that is common to most on the journey is the desire for support and guidance along the way. That is why we created the Awakening Cafe - to help like-minded people on a spiritual journey come together to connect, express and expand.

ARTiculation: Poets, Writers, Visual and Performance artists: This exhibition explores visual art's long standing connection to language. Visual images and language have been an essential part of human history, dating back to hieroglyphics. Language and its ability to incite, arouse, instigate, persuade, evoke and provoke thought and emotion, is part of its continuing appeal to artists of all disciplines. “ARTiculation” explores the many ways in which word influences image and image, word. The inherent relationship of visual, written and spoken language is a vital part of this show. Artists will demonstrate through a variety of different media, the many ways in which we strive to interconnect with each other. Submitted work will represent the power that written, spoken and visual language has to articulate.
