Cabin of Love is veteran singer/songwriter Julia Bloom and multi-instrumentalist, producer and sound engineer Nathan Bloom. Nathan and Julia have been partners in music and life for over 25 years. They have performed and recorded their eclectic mix of folk/pop/rock original and cover songs in all kinds of venues; while raising and launching two delightful humans, holding down day jobs, fixing up old houses, and keeping old cars running. The Blooms recorded their first full-length CD, firstfruits, in 1998, and their second, Thirty Nine, in 2014. Their most recent album, an EP called CoL@home, was released in 2020 (in conjunction with one of its songs, "Slowly Exploding," being featured in the Twin Cities Public Television show Hippocrates Cafe: Reflections on the Pandemic). Julia Bloom has recorded three solo projects, A Human Called Woman in 2005; a holiday EP, Halo in the Frost, in 2013; and Forty Nine, released in 2024. Both Minnesota-grown, the Blooms make their home in Loveland, Colorado.
