Boy Blu is an award-winning blues rock and pop rock duo that blends powerhouse talent, global influences, and decades of musical experience. Winning a “Toby Award “ from “Shout Radio” out of the United Kingdom for their rock’n version of “Bad Moon Rising” they have been played on satellite radio, music television and Internet radio in 25 countries since 2020.
The Duo features American singer-songwriter and drummer Lisa Blu, whose vibrant career includes collaborations with music such as classic soul legends The Chi-lites and drummer for legends Carol Macdonald (Goldie and The Gingerbreads, Isis) Summer Osborne and more.
Partnering with her is Irish singer-songwriter, producer, and renowned guitarist- Seán O’Connor, a founding member of the legendary Irish band “The Lookalikes” Seán’s remarkable career includes performing alongside Thin Lizzy, Roger Daltrey, Les Paul, Clarence Clemons , The Blues Brothers, and countless other icons.
Together, Lisa and Seán fuse their diverse backgrounds and deep musical roots to create an eclectic sound that defies boundaries. Drawing from rock, pop, soul, and blues, Boy Blu experiments with genre conventions to deliver a truly original and unforgettable listening experience.
