Alabama born artist, Bob Green, loved music from an early age getting his first guitar by age thirteen. Focusing early on the blues, Bob has since found his unique voice, a style blending rock and blues, with a little bit of a southern influence. Moving to Orlando, Florida after college, he started playing live shows all around the southeast. His debut album, “Diamonds and Dead Roses”, is a prime example of his songwriting talent, with lyrics from the heart and haunting melodies. The power and the satiny smooth sound of Bob’s voice heard on his submission of an original song he submitted won him a spot to audition for world renowned Music Talent Executive Holly Hutchison aka “AnRGirl” out of 1000 entries for an AnRGirl Roadshowcase event through Reverbnation. after performing up against two others, Bob was the winner of the AnRGirl performance competition, winning a free recording in East Iris Studios in Nashville, TN with Hutchison offering professional, major label A&R direction in a collaboration with multi-platinum producer/writer Malcolm Springer. “Next Full Moon” was the track that resulted from the collaboration and ended up being the first single of 2022 releases for Bob and no coincidence – released on April’s full moon. The single received accolades from industry professionals Lynn McConnell, Editor of Triple A panel for AllAccess.com and a testimonial from the respected program director Brad Savage at Summit FM in Akron, OH. Bob’s been out visiting stations to play his music firsthand to radio station managers and personalities on National Radio Broadcasts and received invites back to their programs and festivals for the coming months. Bob’s creativity is inspired by tv series and movies. “During the pandemic I had a lot of free time on my hands like most other people and there was a lot of binge-watching shows. That became my lyrical jumping point was to tell stories about the characters I was watching, from “Next Full Moon” being about the relationship between Josh Hartnett’s and Eva Green’s character on the Showtime series "Penny Dreadful" or “Pirates Life” coming from watching the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies and the "Black Sails" series on Starz.” As support for the single release and notably first-time experience making a music video, Bob enlisted Richard Johnson of Spectacle Photo to shoot and edit what became a work of visual fantasy and art through the magnificent work with prosthetics by Universal Studios Orlando Make up specialist Britton Goro. Since April 2022, Bob has released the singles “Next Full Moon”, a pirate movie inspired yo ho song “Pirate’s Life” and current single “Whiskey, Weed, & Wine”. He’s being considered for large festivals and radio station events.
