“As the 100 Club began to resemble a Texas roadhouse, Mack responded by playing the guitar behind his neck and then behind his back. If the night had been a little longer he’d have probably ended up by picking out tunes with his teeth. For an artist who has been named Texas Music Ambassador to the World by the Texas Senate (the title, says Mack wowed then in Japan), he proved to have all the right credentials.”

Q: Hey man. Saw you at the Kessler. You remind me of Doyle! There is a place in Ardmore, Ok. called TwoFroggs Grill off I35. Check it out. I'm north of Denton. I'd like to hear you again. Rock R.

A: Hey thanks for the shout out! was lucky enough to have Doyle play drums in my band for a couple of years in the mid 80's... he taught me a lot., Back then everyone wanted to sing like Doyle, I have heard of the place in Ardmore... thanks again for the heads up. Bobby
