Bucky Haighte (BKYH8) is the mastermind and creative genius behind the band Bloody Stool and The Bloody Stool Project (TBSP).
BKYH8 is a musical combination of Andy Warhol and George Clinton, with a walking middle finger misanthropic view of life that is reflected in TBSP music since being released from the Florida Correctional System.
Every year on August 8th, a new Theory of Volume album is introduced to the world in honor of Bucky’s daughter (Raven) who took her life on 8/8/2008 while he was serving time in prison. With Bucky’s date of birth eerily being 8/8/1988, the number sequence of 888 drives and motivates TBSP. Former inmate and friend, Sir Isaac Dunning Krueger (SID-K), remixes all Theory of Volume albums into bloody dance hell anthems that BKYH8 oversees and produces.
Other TBSP projects that will start releasing annually on specific dates starting in 2026 are the Dope Misanthrope and Misanthropic Chronicles series of albums with BKYH8 working with fellow ex-felons Jerome “Thumb” Thurman (THMB) and James “Pitch Black” Stygian (PTCH). BKYH8 and PTCH have also produced a dark ambient prison soundtrack called Bloody Isolation that will release in 2025.
