If you've found yourself poking around iTunes or Spotify lately, you've probably bumped into a litany of highly-polished, over-compressed, auto-tuned pop music. "What happened to rock?", you wonder. Happily, it's right here...in Milwaukee, USA. Blame It On Cain released their debut album, 'Rhythm Schism' in 2008. A refreshed sound emerged years later with the releases of 'Big Down Under' (2017) and 'Amp Grease' (2019). The band briefly moved away from heavy drums and loud guitars for the all-acoustic, 'Implied Maturity' (2022). Their latest, 'Doggie Bag' (2024), returns Cain to their hard rock roots and is available at Bandcamp, iTunes and other download and streaming services. Named after the famous Elvis Costello song, Blame It On Cain is Sam Boettcher (vocals), Steve Draganchuk (guitar), Rich Seegert (drums) and Chris Trotier (bass).
