Abel is a former school teacher, former chemist who has been in the entertainment field since childhood. Having started in music playing trumpet at the age of 4, he picked up on guitar at 15 and began singing at 19 and was classically trained to sing opera.
BDA entered the acting world in 2000 and has worked on such TV shows as HBO's OZ (for 4 seasons), Law & Order, Guiding Light, As the World Turns and such movies as School of Rock, Shaft, 2 Weeks Notice and many others.
