Basso a Deux [BAH-so ah DU] is an upright bass and vocal duo that performs jazzy swing versions of classic rock tunes, some bluesy numbers, and some originals. December bookings feature festive holiday tunes, including holiday classics, carols and some very merry originals.
Andrea Vorvick (vocals) and Paul Vorvick (upright bass) musically fill the room without overpowering it. The duo specializes in swanky background tunes for mingling, and they bring an old-school vibe to events…perfect for cocktail hour and receptions.
Basso a Deux’s setlist includes songs by Santana, ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Cure, Billy Idol, Tom Petty, Foreigner, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Ozzie Osbourne, and more.
