About the Artist

Straight out of Shinjuku, Tokyo, AtJap13 turns rebellion into a sound—and dresses it for the apocalypse. His self-defined genre, “Visual Kei Porn Rap,” fuses hip-hop swagger, explicit lyricism, and visual kei theatrics into a world where queer expression takes center stage and polite society can wait outside.

White noise, electronic signals, alternative rock riffs, and fractured breakbeats collide beneath vocals that shift from guttural growls to mechanical whispers. Distortion, pitch manipulation, and reverb transform each track into its own dystopian playground. Dark, sometimes grotesque imagery sits alongside unapologetically queer-positive bars, while flashes of humor and youthful mischief keep the chaos unpredictable. The hooks have teeth. The eyeliner is immaculate.

With 15 years of artistic exploration behind him and an air of mystery still intact, AtJap13 has built an identity around contradiction: dark yet cute, confrontational yet playful, futuristic yet steeped in adolescent rebellion. His perpetual-teenager persona turns angst into theater, pairing an androgynous image with lyrics that often conceal double meanings beneath their bravado.

Crossing cultural, racial, and gender boundaries, AtJap13 treats experimentation as a guiding principle. Every track brings a different energy, connected by visual kei’s expressive spirit and one uncompromising message: never let society silence your voice.
