Hello, there - thanks visiting my site!
I hope you enjoy the songs you'll find here as well as new music ready to share soon :)
I've been studying music & performing since early childhood with various musical theatre companies & as a soloist & ensemble member of church, university, & professional choral groups throughout the US and Europe. It was a dream come true to portray some of my favorite characters on stage for the Walt Disney Company (especially Mary Poppins!). Other favorite past performances include principal roles in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Ruddigore, Peter Pan, The Taffetas, Into the Woods, The Secret Garden, & Annie. Some classical highlights include singing with the Virginia Symphony Chorus & performing in Millikin University’s La Musica Lirica opera program. I've also enjoyed teaching private lessons, coaching ensembles, & acting as musical director, sound designer, and composer for several shows. I graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Vocal Performance from Pensacola Christian College and recently completed my Master of Music at NYU Steinhardt (Vocal Performance/Music Theatre). I also love studying languages, and have earned B2 proficiency certificates in Italian (Centro Studi Italiani, Urbania, Italy), French (Institut Catholique de Paris and ACCORD Paris, France), and German (Anglo-German Institute, Stuttgart, Germany), as well as my ESL CELTA certificate from the University of Cambridge.
I've recently discovered a love for writing/arranging/recording music in my home studio. I began at the request of far-away family members who couldn’t come to my live performances. You'll be able to tell from my recordings how my equipment - and knowledge of how to use it! - has improved. Still quite the amateur tech, I hope to progress to the point of producing professional-quality recordings. Since I play or sing all of the parts in my arrangements, I can only include those instruments I actually play – but I do love the challenge of capturing the sound I imagine with only what I can produce.
Thanks again for visiting - I'd love to hear your feedback :)
