Ashes Reign is a melodic metal band that released their debut EP "Mountain's Echoes" in 2022. With a deep passion for the classics and a thirst for innovation, they have quickly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the heavy metal scene.
Frontman and lead guitarist Vinny Carrion is joined by fellow guitarist Carter Litvinas, who brings his inimitable style and feel to both rhythm and lead guitar duties. Together, they create a dual guitar attack that is nothing short of ferocious, delivering crushing riffs and scorching solos that are sure to leave audiences in awe.
Carrion's raw and powerful vocals are a defining feature of Ashes Reign's sound. He leads the charge for the band's relentless energy, bringing a modern edge to their traditional metal sound. The rhythm section, consisting of bassist Ryan Neurauter and drummer William Burton, provides the driving force that anchors Ashes Reign, fusing tight grooves and tactile dynamics to create a sound that is not only musical but immense.
Their upcoming release is a re-imagining of the classic Rolling Stones masterpiece "Paint it Black" that shows the band reaching new heights . "This one just took on a life of its own as we began to play around with the arrangement" says Carrion. "When Ryan brought the idea to me I was a bit reluctant as I have never been huge into doing covers. That being said we gave it the Ashes treatment and I believe what we created is a fresh take on the song while still paying tribute to what makes it so memorable".
