God's Dirt / Press

"God's Dirt comes with a powerful message of inspiration and dedication to overcome the power of addiction towards a better life with the Almighty. Told through the voice of Terry Lee Isaac, it’s all about their personal testimony through the volume of rock, blues and southern charm. A bit of Credence and Skynyrd mixed in real good with Willie. The good ole boys take things a bit old-school. They open up with some trail blazing hillbilly guitar sliding down on the Blood Train toward eternal life. Living in the darkness on whisky and cocaine, saw the light, tossed it down the drain. They all speak and play a good tune, because wherever you go or the road takes you, Jesus loves Rednecks too. For their set the dance floor ‘was’ a dance floor with some of the country folk showing, respect isn’t always about a pit. The harmonica hit the speakers with the slide guitar sitting at the roadside campfire talking about leaving the old highway of guzzling destruction, starting a new road..

"Blood Train's 12 original tracks speak about freedom from self destruction through faith and worship. This message can be powerfully felt in "There Is One", a melancholy song about a suicide and a message of hope that is exceptionally moving. My personal favorite has to be track five "Jesus Rides". The harmonica and guitar work are as moving as the song's story. Anyone who rides a motorcycle and has had a spiritual awakening can relate to this song on some level."
