Born and raised in different parts of New Mexico, Mauro Kemmerer and Gena Lawson started playing music together in the experimental/performance art project Milch de la Máquina. They soon realized they had the same vision for a new band and started to write music together. Starting off as a minimal duo that focused on abstract harmonies and dreamy sounds, they realized they wanted to expand on the project. Mauro and Gena added Christian Newman to drums and Brahm Woody to bass by Christmas 2010. In early 2014 after a short hiatus for members to travel, get married and have babies, the band added Dhaveed Woody to guitar and began writing new tunes. The band has played with several touring acts and continues to play throughout the SW. The band is currently hard at work on their second album.
