Arthur "trod the boards" for many years at various venues in the U.K., fronting various bands, groups, combos, duos and finally as a solo artist. Eventually he grew tired of life on the road, decided instead to concentrate on songwriting, finishing a selection of original songs which had been percolating in and around his consciousness for many years. Eventually, Arthur re-united with a couple of colleagues, (and this is where The Umbrellas make an appearance), who had played alongside him in some of the aforementioned bands. They completed these unfinished songs and set about creating new original compositions; something which continues to this day. All the songs featured on this site are demos and essentially should be judged as such; there is scope for their development and evolution and as such they are still very much a "work in progress".
