Annika is a Brooklyn-bred pianist, singer and songwriter. She's found making homemade music videos a very satisfying creative outlet and credits this for many new listeners discovering her music in the US and abroad. She is best known for "Streets of Brooklyn", her musical ode to her hometown. After over 300,000 views since being released on YouTube back in 2010, its online popularity still resonates today with heartfelt comments from Brooklynites. Annika is grateful to still receive current airplay from NY-based FM radio station WBTQ when airing their "songs about the streets of NY" theme segment. Annika's original 15 track album "Affinity" was released in 2013 and can be found on iTunes, Amazon Music and Spotify. These days Annika lives in coastal Delaware and has recently gotten back to making music after a long absence. She is available for singer/songwriter venues as Annika Vitolo, performing all original content.
