'HEARTS' DESIRES' is an instrumental collection released in October 2013 which once again showcases the wide spectrum of genres that Andy blends together to create his own unique sound. This collection consists predominantly of original previously unreleased material recorded over the last thirty years. The more recent 2013 compositions bring an acoustic flavour to the mix which gives this collection even more variety than that of the first album, 'From The Heart'.
All instrumentation on the album is provided by Andy except for 'The Doodlebug Dance' which features Alex Shearer (Andy's son) on bass guitar.
'FROM THE HEART' is the debut album from this extremely versatile artist from the NE, UK. Released on Andy's own
label in February 2012, this collection of eclectic compositions is over an hour in duration and reveals the wide range of musical influences and tastes that Andy has embraced and moulded together to create his own distinctive sound. The music on this album is inspired by the strong emotions associated with Andy's life experiences, which he refers to as his 'personal scrapbook'. All the instrumentation on the album is by Andy, although female vocalist Chrissy Armstrong features predominantly on two of the songs - MUSEBOAT RADIO.
