Q: Hi Andy ,what is the origin of the instrument, is it a Baroque Renaissance instrument ,it has such a dynamic frequency range, European version of the sitar, are they expensive.

A: Hi, It's actually a modern guitar-family instrument called a Chapman Stick, developed by Emmett Chapman in California in the late 60's. There are quite a few players in your neck of the woods. More info at http://stick.com/ All the best!
