My musical journey started with the violin when I was four. Somewhere before high school a banjo came along, which is where I learned my finger picking style, though I don't have one anymore. The first guitar I ever played was the one my mother had under her bed collecting dust. It was an old Yamaha classical guitar she bought new in the 1960's and it had a spring latch on its case that always seemed to smack my fingers when I tried to open it. I finally bought my own guitar and really started playing in high school. I've gained a lot of life experience in the interim, but otherwise not much has changed when it comes to my passion for music.
The 2020 pandemic had one silver lining for me in that while pretty much all of my creative outlets were taken away from me, I had my guitar, my couch, and a journal with potential lyrics in it. Since summer 2020 I managed to crank out all of the songs you can listen to here.
This music is my joy and my creative release. I do this because I love playing and listening to these songs. If you get a single moment of enjoyment from any of what I've created I am happy.
Never stop being your unique self.
