“Forget the tired clichés and the jaded cynicism. American Progress is here to remind us that the American Dream is alive and kicking, fueled by hard work, unwavering determination, and a soundtrack that'll make you want to raise your fist in the air and scream "Hell yeah!”

“Don't let the relative stability of the top tier fool you, comrades. Beneath the surface, the undercurrents of change are swirling, and the new year promises a tidal wave of sonic disruption. American Progress, Autumn Kings, and Coldwards are steadily gaining momentum, their ascent suggesting a dynamic shift in the rock landscape as fresh voices and innovative sounds challenge the dominance of established giants.”

“Andrew David Weber leads a new band, American Progress, that offers his most confident expression to date, showing him lending Zeppelin-style arena-rock-ready vocals to songs like "Disaster," offering social commentary on toe-tapper "Bible," and slipping smoothly into ska mode for "Outlaw."”

“American Progress Shine On Their Debut Album, “Dewey NO!””

“American singer-songwriter Andrew David Weber, through his new song “Shame Me”, displays a unique and peculiar way of interpreting his songs. This composition reveals the artist’s talent, which offers his fans an unmistakable tone, conveying his feelings and emotions in each verse sung.”

“Shame Me is part of his upcoming album "Expel It", a work entirely done by Weber. From the composition to the mastering, this album marks a milestone in the career of the American artist, who usually collaborates with other musicians but on occasion decided to take the reins completely. The song, recorded entirely in his home studio, shows us the most visceral side of Weber. Through lyrics that explore frustration and the difficulty of moving away from a toxic relationship, the artist sings "I wanted nothing to do with wanting nothing to do with you." The intensity of his voice combines perfectly with the instrumentation, also recorded by him, including drums, keyboards, guitars, and auxiliary percussion.”

“Singer/songwriter Andrew David Weber’s latest album, “The Gift Of Movement,” is a 10-song masterpiece that showcases his remarkable musical prowess. The album is a testament to Weber’s technical guitar skills and his charismatic vocals, which effortlessly draw listeners in. However, what truly sets this album apart is the driving energy present in most of the tracks. Each song possesses an irresistible groove that compels the audience to immerse themselves in the music and dance along. With a blend of Americana and blues elements, interwoven with subdued pop-facing aspects, Weber crafts a sound that is undeniably grand and captivating. “The Gift Of Movement” is a testament to Weber’s abundant talent.”

"Weber does a great job honing his music to sound honest and pure. The songs also ebb and flow well so recommend listening to the beginning and letting it ride. Take a listen."

"After more than a decade in the music industry, Andrew David Weber, a West Bend-native singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist, continues his passion for music, writing hundreds of songs, and being involved in multiple projects."

“American progress is a term that conjures up some pretty immediate thoughts for many people around the world both good and not so good. American Progress though is a Milwaukee based punk band that is still defining exactly what they are to the world. In October of 2021 they released their debut three song EP, “Unprocessed” as a surprise. The record, as the name implies burns with an organic fire. They are a “loud punk band that can’t decide what kind of punk band it is, and it’s all of our faults,” singer-guitarist Andrew David Weber says. Weber is joined by Steve Madsen on bass and Tristan Wallace on drums. They make a joyful and brash noise together all pulled together by the magnetic gravity of Weber’s supple voice.”

"Weber has been by Eoin McCarthy's side in Celtic punk band Whiskey of the Damned for about a decade now, but on his solo sophomore album, he really comes into his own. Bombastic, symphonic metal rocker "The Howl" is a scream, but Weber isn't shy to show his vulnerable side on cello-accompanied ballads "How Bad Could It Get?" and "Moods."

"We commend Andrew David Weber for his powerful sentiments of grief expressed with such versatility."

"An April 23 concert featuring numerous area musicians raised over $5,000 for the Walworth County Food and Diaper Bank...Web-A-Thon performers included Andrew David Weber, Un-Hich’d, Wise Jennings, Hannah Sattler, Adriane Rose, Jeff Walski, Lara Bell, Kayla Seeber, Cullah, Craig Baumann, Michael Castle, Rheana Garbis, Kerry Trampe, Gary McAdams, Glenn Nubs Morrison and Judson Brown"

"More mad Irish passion on “Thumpkeg” where I continued to worry that Andrew David Weber might be one of those crazed drummers not long for this world. Started worrying around “Good Rat.” Take a deep breath, Weber, yoga or something. Therapy won’t help. Probably make things worse so “Burn Your Suicide Notes.”

"Andrew David Weber does a good job giving variety over the 12 songs that are all quality songs. From rock, to ballad, to even some funk thrown in. Weber’s best instrument is his voice. It has such range that it captures its listeners. Also as mentioned before, Weber performed all the instruments. That’s crazy! It’s no wonder Weber, along with his Whiskey of the Damned band members, have toured with artists like Dave Grohl, Dropkick Murphys, & The Mahones. The overall blending of styles lead to a good album that’s all about rock and soul."

"This man is a musician through and through. He plays countless instruments, has played in various positions, of various bands, in various genres throughout the years. Ranging from Acoustic, to Metal, to a Celtic Punk-Rock band. Andrew lives and breathes music, has toured the country playing it and has been working very hard on his new album. With all he must to have learned throughout the years, tours and bands, I can think of no more fitting album name than ‘The Voice of Experience’."
