The coverband Altered Addiction formed in Louisville, Kentucky in May of 2008. Many members have been in the band's lineup but two members, Michael Cash and Matt Crowley, have always remained with Altered Addiction. The main genre for Altered Addiction is rock, ranging from bands like Rush to Michael Jaskson to Greenday, etc. Altered Addiction is a perfect party or festival band for their variety in music. Altered Addiction is a Rock & Roll band based out of Metro-Louisville, Kentucky. Comprised of two musicians with diverse influences and playing backgrounds, they have quickly become an incredibly tight and cohesive ensemble.
Performing music that covers a broad cross-section of the modern era, the band prides itself on a well-curated setlist that steers clear of the cliche' standards that have long since worn thin with listeners (looking at you, "Sweet Child Of Mine"). The primary objective is to engage the audience with an instantly recognizable setlist they've rarely (if ever) heard performed live. Expect a few clever surprises along the way!
Offering both conventional electric sets as well as full-band acoustic performances (think "MTV Unplugged") as venues desire, Altered Addiction looks forward to playing for you soon.

Altered Addiction has shared the stage by opening for fellow artists, John Rich, John Michael Montgomery, Confederate Railroad, Keith Anderson, Trick Pony, Jeff Bates, Colt Ford, Phil Vassar, Josh Thompson, Randy Houser, The Kentucky Headhunters, and yes, even Jackyl. This energetic group has entertained crowd sizes ranging from 10's to thousands and have performed for numerous night clubs, honky tonks, backyard parties, weddings, state fairs, community festivals and corporate events.
