Ali Taylor is married with 3 grown up children. Her passion for music started in her early childhood and she started writing songs at just 13 years of age and spending hours at the piano or with her guitar. She carried the dream of one day having the opportunity to record an album.
Over the years Ali faced alot of obstacles including the pain of personal illness, grief and loss that hindered the dream becoming a reality. In 2003 she had the opportunity to record one of her songs "Mercy and Grace" on the "Released 2" album at DB studios, Lincoln.
Ali recorded her debut album. "Simple Faith" which launched on 18th September 2010. It has been a long journey since the childhood dream was sown, but this album is a reflection of many years of songwriting that has come straight from the heart of personal experience, it is real and raw in its lyrics, but ultimately carries a message of hope, even in the midst of suffering.
Ali continues to work on new songs and hopes to go on to record a worship album in the future. She hopes that her music will show a diversity of musical styles that will have a wide appeal; "I write songs out of the place of personal experience, music touches people, for me music in many ways has been part of a process of healing, the pain of the circumstance, is expressed and addressed in the songs, looking through the eyes of my faith bringing a new focus of hope and freedom."
