Alex W Young when he is not busy playing shows likes to go surfing, hang out with friends, go to concerts and go to his weekly hip hop dance class Kazaxe. On Sundays he also volunteers as a Cor team member with 2 separate Catholic youth groups. He was raised Catholic and is still very involved with church events as well as young adult events and attends church every Sunday sometimes more during the week if the schedule allows. With a wide range of over 3 octaves Alex is a solid Baritone with the ability to also sing bass notes and smooth tenor notes. As a close friend told him he’s one song away from reaching the top. “Every song I write involves some life experience of mine or something I feel really strongly about, I’m able to write a song about anything really and people see this and relate to it because a lot of it happens to all of us all at some point and it kind of just draws you in” says Alex.
