These are not professional recordings. I did not have a band, and I wanted to hear how some of my songs could sound if I did. So, I built a recording studio, and I recorded them at home. I recorded them on a X-24 Fostex analog tape recorder. With only 4 tracks, recording on tape, each track has to be performed correct from start to finish, or you start all over again. I wrote and composed each song. I sang lead and back-up vocals. I bought a used bass and electric guitar and an electric keyboard. So, I played every instrument. I had been playing the harmonica since childhood. I programed the drums on a Boss DR550MkII drum machine. From designing the studio, to mixing down the recordings, I think my objective was a success. I don't think I did too bad for a very limited purse, and no band. What do you think?
