Acoustic Fire is a male/female duo playing pop, classic rock, country and blues. Maria and Leon have been acoustically together for about 18 years, singing and playing guitar at restaurants and taverns in Boston and the South Shore. Maria composes tunes and plays rhythm guitar. Her lead vocals have been compared to the tones of Linda Ronstadt, Melissa Etheridge, Amy Ray, Patty Griffin, and Dolly Parton. Leon's electric and acoustic guitar is a consistent compliment and his vocals have been compared to Neil Young, Tom Petty and Warren Zevon.
