We return to Schubas for their weekly acoustic brunch series. We'll be playing Sunday 12/20 from Noon till 2:00. Be sure to make reservations for the music room, as it does tend to fill up quickly. Great food, coffee, bloody Marys & Mimosas, and 3rd Sunday -- what more could one want? No cover, but you've gotta eat something. (773) 525-2508 for reservations.
CANCELED!!! Due to a scheduling mixup on the library's part, our show was never put on their calendar. We will let you know if we can reschedule it for a later date.
We play from 2:00 to 2:45 at Estonian House's International Christmas Market. We'll be playing our usual mix of Old Time & Americana, and may have a few holiday surprises up our sleeves as well. From their website: "A lineup by specialty vendors with unique, quality gifts like handicraft, handmade jewelry, amber jewelry, wool knits, fused glass, porcelain, hand carved wood items, holiday decorations and much more." Estonian House is up in Riverwoods, IL, east of Buffalo Grove.
We make another appearance at the Fremont Public Library in far north suburban Mundelein, IL.. Libraries are always a great place to hear acoustic music in an intimate setting. And they're among our favorite venues to play!
We return to a favorite event of ours, the Garfield Park Conservatory's annual Halloween party -- Creatures of the Night. There will be many activities and demonstrations in this very kid-friendly event. We'll be playing in costume -- feel free to wear your own! And if you've never been to the Conservatory, you owe it to yourself to visit! The even is free, and runs from Noon till 3:00 pm. We play two sets: Noon to 1:00 and 1:30 to 2:30.
