Jeremy "Starseed", known also as OREON, was born in 1975 in Hollywood, California. He came to Sweden in 1979 and left to travel in 1994 as a DJ and designer/scout for Scandinavian fashion company 2xHans Mode International whose expansion into Germany he was to be instrumental in.
While based in Bochum, Germany, Sony BMG offered a him a recording contract. He was 19 at the time, and had just returned from India and a staggering 11-hour DJ set at the new year's eve Hilltop Party and a 5-hour set at the epic total Solar Eclipse, before heading to play at Burning Man in the Nevada desert. Apparently the first time the organization allowed soundsystems. Quite the feather in his cap.
Dj-ing alongside Juno Reactor's Mike McGuire (whose bandmate Ben Watkins you may have heard in the movie Matrix), Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Koxbox, Dino Psaras, Etnica Max Lanfranconi, Baba D, DJ Anti, Antix, Vibrasphere, Goa Gil, GMS, Olli Wisdom, Star Sound Orchestra and many, many others, led to studio sessions with Tim Healey (Quirk) Unconscious Collective (UK), Celli (Earthling, T.I.P - Ibiza), Bioforce (D), D.I.M.O (BTM, Tatsu - D), S>Range (S), and Shin (BTM, Jap), led to releases on BTM, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Tunnel Records, JOOF, Phantasm and his own KlangTone Recordings.
Jeremy has broadened his scope with Architecture, 3D Visualization & immersive technologies added to music production, sound engineering and analog Mastering, all serving as professional and creative outlets. Artistry flourishes, as ever, with multimedia and mixed media, with an online exhibition named #stillegal
