WreckitWonder
To understand WreckitWonder he would ask you to read about the history of his music past. The only problem even to him it is blurry. As he remembers it, the first music he owned were a couple of cassette tapes. He doesn't remember which tape he acquired first but it was between the Cocktail Soundtrack, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Soundtrack, Wayne's World Soundtrack, and Boy's to Men- Cooleyhighharmony. These albums though just don't define the artist WreckitWonder it was just a beginning in the journey. This journey really started a couple years later, most likely around the year 1994. This is when a new friend introduced a young WreckitWonder to the lovely music of Nirvana. Getting into the Grunge/Alternative rock world he began to divulge himself into every kind of Rock music he could find or friends would recommend. Artist's from Rush, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, Green Day, The Who, Beatles, and many other's across the Spectrum of music. But, his first dabble into the world of electronic music would've been with the Prodigy. The one song he remembers was Firestarter. This blurry memory remembers searching for the CD in which it was on, but to his own dismay he could not find it. Which he realized at the time it wasn't even released yet. He did find something better, an early Prodigy album by the title "Music For the Jilted Generation", He found other artists in the same genre such as Moby and the Chemical Brother but eventually he went back to his old rock ways. This whole time he was learning to play the guitar and also dreamed of maybe joining or creating a band. We're going to fast forward because it was several years, when he crossed paths and found some trance albums at his local library. He doesn't recall the exact time but he found out about artist's like Kyau & Albert, Armin Van Buren, and Tiesto. If he would have to say his personal favorite during this time had to been "As the Rush Comes", by the group Motorcycle. Again some years went by dabbling his tastes in a wide variety of Musical Styles but his electronic influences grew and grew and grew. Artist's like Celldweller and Pendulum became some favorites. It wasn't till heard "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" by Skrillex that he was blown away. Turning away from the guitar he found out about programs such as Ableton and Pro Tools, and decided. I want to do that. He purchased some software, did some reading, and attempted to create something with his Computer. This leads to today, WreckitWonder attempting his hand by taking the music he loves, the music he creates, and trying his hand at producing, remixing, creating, performing, and djing.
