WORDPLAY4U2HEAR

Isaac Vincent Washington who goes by the stage name WordPlay4U2hear is an up and coming spoken word artist. He has been writing poetry for over 20 years and by 2012 he began to master his craft as a spoken word artist. He’s been performing for 4 years and is currently working on his debut cd and book titled “POEMS IN THE KEY OF SIGHT.” The cd is to be released in August 2018 with the book to follow in October 2018. His poetry speaks of the ups and downs of personal life experiences and dualities most of us face on a daily basis. Outside of blessing the mic with his poetry here in the twin cities he has also performed in Philadelphia, Atlanta and Chicago. Being a recipient of The Roots Of Rondo/Black Artist Rising grant is allowing him to propel his works to be recognized by the community. He is able to reach listeners of all ages with a voice that resonates profound and thought provoking lyrics. Isaac is in the process of putting together his first production which will be performed at Arnellia's on Saturday August 6th.
