Wisteria

Wisteria is a project of AtoragoN (Strider) and Veronica "ValchiReA" Bordacchini (Fleshgod Apocalypse), and is born to create dark, industrial metal songs that fits as the perfect soundtrack of a nightmare. The first song, "Flesh", is the official soundtrack for the youtube horror movie "Escape from the House of Death" (2010). The influences are Evanescence, Devin Townsend and Rammstein, among the others. The first demo, "Mechanical Phoenix", contains 3 songs of pure industrial rock and a cover, Hyperdrive! by Devin Towsend. 2012 is the year of the release of the second demo: "Nerdvana", which featured 3 songs that expanded furthermore the musical scope of the band; the two demos are freely downloadable from our Facebook page. In 2014 the band released its first full lenght, "Under an 8-Bit Moon", with 3 covers, 7 original songs and with the guest appearance of other musicians such as Francesco Ferrini (Fleshgod Apocalypse); this album explores deeply the darkest and most electronic side of the band, with lyrics inspired by Sci-Fi and Horror movies such as "Blade Runner", "Hellraiser" and "Event Horizon", and books, such as the H.P. Lovecraft novels.
