Wally Chris Hoffner and the Noontime Nappers

Walter Christofer Hoffner was born Walter Christofer Hoffner on July 15th in Dryhead, Montana. His storied career has spanned influences ranging from Captain Beefheart to Conway Twitty, with a dash of Jimi Hendrix. Recently he has returned to his roots with self-penned songs about the buttes in his home state of Montana. Are there buttes in Montana? Well, maybe it’s the butts of Montana. While Wally has been able to recover from the COVID lockdown, a greater challenge has been recovering from bad management. His ex-manager, Colonel Buckshyster, was last seen in Tahiti spending Wally’s streaming and touring profits. That’s him, top left, chugging a beer in Paradise.
