Thomas Healy
Thomas Healy is a composer, singer/songwriter, electronic expeditionary, pianist, and a sometime poet. He was born in a boxcar in New Mexico as his mother fled the clutches of a fanatical Televangelist who himself was the heir to an oil fortune in East Texas. Tom spent his teenage years panhandling and juggling on the streets of Juarez, regularly being harassed by local gangs, and sometimes being taken in by strangers. At age 16 he was working in the estate of a divorcee who received a handsome payout from her cartel-affiliated ex-husband. She made a gift of several thousand dollars that enabled the servile Healy to educate himself with a noted tutor who was a Hopi Shaman with a PhD in 17th Century English Literature. Completing his studies, he matriculated at Syracuse University and continued onto the New England Conservatory of Music to receive a graduate degree in music composition. He lives in Astoria, Queens with his wife Sylvia, several bastard children from various affairs, and a one-legged pig named Martha.
