Tokyo Raid

Tokyo Raid is an Oakland based alternative rock project built around songwriter and multi instrumentalist Ben Acevedo. Mixing Britpop melody, post punk tension, psychedelic texture, and melodic guitar driven arrangements, Tokyo Raid moves between swagger, atmosphere, and character driven songwriting.

The latest album, The Ballad of Essex Porder, brings those elements together across 14 songs about people, places, relationships, memory, and the strange spaces between them. Written, performed, recorded, and produced entirely by Acevedo, it represents the clearest version of Tokyo Raid yet.
