God gave you these songs." ORIGINS A west Texas boy, he is forever thankful for his parents' simple example of a good and helpful life in commitment to faith, family and service to others. "Ultimately we are all in the same lifeboat. It is our duty to row through the waves, loving and helping folks where we can." He believes every person has priceless God-given value, regardless of origin or circumstances. It's up to each of us to do something positive to make things a little better for folks when we can. "Life is a symphony. Some songs are sweet, some songs are mean. It's up to us to choose the former." Musical influences came from growing up with gospel and popular music of the late 60's - 70's. SONG WRITING In creating new songs, Tim draws from varied life experiences including extensive travel across America (and the world). "Sometimes life is.... well.... tough. But it's good." His songs reflect an intimate appreciation of common life experiences and the kinds of things that are most important; faith, family, purpose, meaning, adversity, love and perseverance (and fun). "A simple song can change the color of the sky." Four original albums have been released and new songs are in the works. Tim's music is generally in the style of acoustic folk, americana and gospel music. He seeks to entertain, provoke meaningful thought, and strike a chord of encouragement; make the day better and uplift the listener (and have fun). Tim has provided music at many venues all across the country, performing for groups ranging in size from a few to as many as 12,000. ROADHAWG & SUCH Tim is also the founder of "Roadhawg Music" - where he has written songs for the motorcycle community and ministries. He is based in the Dallas, Texas area.
