The Saxon Colchester Blues Band began in 2008 by studio musicians working at Murky Water Records in Weyburn Canada. Every single that Saxon Colchester released since 2009 has consistently ranked within the top 20 on the Canadian Blues Charts on ReverbNation.com, the most popular fully charted music website on the internet with over 2.4 million bands featured. The Saxon Colchester Blues Band released a 5 song EP in 2010 and released a full length CD in mid June 2012. As well as originals, Saxon Colchester covers many classic songs written by greats such as ZZ Top, Pink Floyd, SRV, Clapton and others.
