Reason

Louis Bowers aka Reason was born into a life of music... Playing piano from the age of 6, and rapping from the age of 11, it seemed music was the only path to take. After being in and out of studios doing solo tracks and collabirations, Reason went on a college course where he started a Label and making music with Owen Jones. They then formed Panning For Gold, an indie/rap/rock/jazz band; which is where his talents have been focused the past 2years. Evolving his performance, confidence and musical capabilties. He's influences are very unexpected; starting with Billy Joel's piano playing and song writing, onto Eminems Lyrical Genius, and finally Dizzie Rascals well-earned success and unorthadox style. Reason's music hits a wide range of genres, and are all original. Made from scratch; from the piano and drums, to the rap lyrics and singing. With multiple topics, strong views, and clever poetry involving a large selection of linguistic devices, these songs can reach out to alot of people... Reason and Matt Shilk have recently combined their musical attributes and knowledge in 2012 to form a new duo known as 'Dishy Tangent'... Along the way they will also be collaborating with other talents such as Owen Jones (Panning For Gold) and any other artists interested in making some magic. These two 'Mugicians' use a vibrant mix of Midi, Vocal Harmonies, Rapping and Live Instruments to form some creative masterpieces with a range of mixed messages, powerful linguistic devices and strong views. Reason is now at UEL studying for his BSc (Hons) Music and Sound Technology. He spends the majority of his time at his stuido working with Artist from his label. He is always willing to try new sounds and test differnet genres.
