The Johnny Utahs Founded: September 2014 in Ogden, Utah Sounds Like: A mix-tape of Johnny Cash and Jack White Members: Brett Turner (Rhythm Guitar, Vocals), Ryan Hawthorn (Electric Guitar, Lap Steel), Jeffrey Aaron (Bass), Jason Vaughn (Drums) How The Band Got It's Name: They practice in studio with black floors and black walls lined with old Johnny Cash memorabilia, and they all happen to reside in Utah. (Side Note: Jason and Jeff are also fans of the cult classic "Point Break" starring Keanu Reeves as "Johnny Utah")
