C-Quel
C-Quel was born May 27, in New Brunswick, NJ. This recording artist /songwriter of African-American, West Indian, Native American and Irish descent grew up in Old Bridge, NJ. His strong musical background derives from his mother, who loved to sing and dance; as well as his father, who played at various New York City venues as a polished bass guitarist and keyboardist. C-Quel began singing at his Baptist Church at the age of 4 years old. By 9, he played the alto saxophone in the school band, and continued for the next 4 years. C-Quel's "eclectic" approach to music has expanded his brand, as well as opened opportunities and avenues outside of Hip-Hop. C-Quel's ability to "Improv" on non-traditional Hip-Hop beats such as Jazz and Blues, always opens the door for new fans. "The Garden State Great" will be releasing a mixtape in August 2015 titled "The Garden State Great Vol.1". The much anticipated mixtape is "Cinematic" and shows that C-Quel's range as an artist has "unlimited potential". His songwriting is put to the test, and he delivers with songs from different genres such as EDM, Tribal Trap, Reggae, Reggaeton, and Salsa. Following the mixtape, C-Quel plans to release an EP in the next few months that will written and produced by C-Quel. Their are no limits!!
