The Fine Chairs

The Fine Chairs play rock that doesn’t sound calculated, but rather born of conviction. Great melodies, edgy guitars, and songs that don’t wear thin but sink deeper with every listen—that’s the hallmark of this Hamburg band. They draw on the great tradition of British guitar music and forge something of their own from it: familiar at its core, surprising in its execution.
Formed in August 2021, the band has quickly emerged as one of the most exciting voices on Hamburg’s independent scene. Five albums, three singles—a pace that has become rare in an era when many bands let years pass between releases. The Fine Chairs write, play, and release. And in doing so, they never just deliver songs to check off a list, but music built to last.
The Beatles, Oasis, and other giants of British guitar music—references that the band doesn’t simply copy, but fuses into a sound all their own, somewhere between pop-rock, alternative rock, Britpop, and the gritty charm of garage rock.
If you’re looking for bands that combine great melodies with genuine attitude and musical substance, you can’t overlook The Fine Chairs. Precise on record, powerful live: this band delivers songs with heart, edge, and energy—without compromising on quality.
